The “Your Safety Matters” campaign seeks to protect and support delivery workers (especially those lacking social or health insurance). The initiative targets couriers using motorcycles, bicycles, and cars. The campaign includes the free distribution of safety gear such as helmets, reflective vests, gloves, masks, and first aid kits. A professional safety code and guidebook are currently being developed to regulate safe driving, worker rights, and training requirements.

The Labour Ministry is also in process of establishing a legal framework to ensure fair contracts with mandatory insurance and accident compensation.

The campaign will feature nationwide inspections in coordination with traffic departments and delivery companies to ensure compliance. Minister of Labour Mohamed Gebran affirmed efforts to formally register delivery workers under the irregular employment system to extend full social protections. He verbally confirmed that a dedicated hotline and digital platform will be launched for the aim of handling complaints and follow-ups.

The campaign marks the beginning of a broader plan to integrate and stabilise the delivery workforce through future training and employment initiatives.
