Associate

Yasmine is an Associate in ADSERO's Dispute Resolution department. She specialises in complex commercial, civil and criminal litigation, as well as arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation. Her experience spans a wide range of areas, including civil, commercial, labour, tort, competition, criminal, cybercrime, and administrative law.

She has experience in drafting legal memoranda, legal opinions, and statements of claim before first instance courts, courts of appeal, and the Court of Cassation. She has also contributed to high-profile disputes involving joint stock and limited liability companies.

Prior to joining ADSERO, Yasmine had interned at several top-tier Egyptian law firms, gaining broad exposure to arbitration and litigation across diverse areas such as commercial, tax, consumer finance, competition, and Electronic Signature Law.

  • Assisted in successfully securing multiple labour court rulings in favour of one of Egypt’s largest food industry companies.
  • Assisted in handling a complex civil case involving a claim of EGP 34 million and contributing to securing a favourable judgment in a high-stakes dispute where the claimant sought EGP 141 million.
  • Assisted in handling a complex criminal case involving fraud, forgery and embezzlement of funds from an Egyptian joint stock company.
  • Assisted in representing a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Egypt in litigation matters involving ongoing compensation claims.
  • Assisted in representing a leading education provider in a case valued at more than USD 3 million against a prominent real estate developer, before the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA).
  • Assisted in successfully litigating several cases on behalf of SETDCO, achieving in favourable outcomes.
  • Assisted in representing a leading poultry company in Egypt in disputes relating to competition matters.
  • Assisted in representing a leading steel industry company in Egypt in disputes spanning competition, criminal, civil, and arbitration matters.
  • Advised Orascom Investment Holding on a contractual matter pertaining to a shareholders’ agreement.
  • Member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
