Taya is an Associate in the firm’s Corporate, Commercial, and Regulatory practice and the Projects practice with a focus on the Energy, Environment and Natural Resources (EENR) sector.

Before joining ADSERO, Taya interned and worked at several Egyptian law firms and has a solid experience in litigation, international commercial law arbitration, civil and commercial law disputes, labour law as well as general corporate and commercial matters. Furthermore, on a more occasional basis, Taya intervened on various laws such as tax law, maritime law, inheritance law, human rights and protection of the environment matters.

Taya has over three years of professional experience, speaks fluent Arabic, English, French and Spanish and is qualified to practice law in Egypt.

• Represented petroleum companies in several commercial and labor law disputes before national courts.
• Represented several construction companies in international arbitration cases before the International Court of Arbitration (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA).

• 2022 – Organized a webinar on Environmental Law in Egypt in presence of H.E. Amb. Mohamed Nasr, Lead Negotiator of the COP27 and in cooperation with Foley Hoag – Paris.
• 2022 – Organized a pre-Moot for the international teams in preparation for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot rounds.
• 2021 – Present – Coached, organized and held several national rounds of Moot Courts on international commercial arbitration.
• 2018 – Oralist and participant to the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot court.
