Junior Associate

Roaa is a Junior Associate in ADSERO’s Dispute Resolution team, specialising in complex commercial litigation and arbitration disputes. Her practice focuses on commercial disputes, particularly in pharmaceutical, contract, labour, and tort law. She has experience in resolving conflicts through litigation as well as alternative dispute resolution methods, including arbitration and mediation.

Prior to joining the firm, Roaa had gained experience working alongside prominent individuals in the arbitration and litigation fields within the MENA region, with a particular focus on cross border commercial and investment disputes.

Further, she actively participated in legal competitions and research initiatives in various areas of international law, including public international law, international investment arbitration, and laws governing freedom of expression.

  • Advised a leading manufacturer in the pharmaceutical products and services sector on a variety of legal matters, specifically relating to ongoing compensation litigations.
  • Represented a vaccine production company in Egypt in litigation matters involving claims brought against it.
  • Assisted in the representation of a leading education provider in a case worth more than USD 3 million against a prominent real estate developer, before the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA).
  • Assisted in the representation of Americana Group in multiple labour disputes initiated by former employees before various judicial bodies, securing 2 favourable judgments to date.
  • Advised Orascom Investment Holding on a contractual matter pertaining to a shareholders’ agreement.
  • Successfully litigated several complex labour cases on behalf of SETDCO, resulting in favourable outcomes.
  • 2024 - Selected to lead Cairo University moot board as the supervisory committee head, overseeing resource allocation among team members in competitions such as Jessup and FDI.
  • 2024 - Served as the main oralist and team captain for Cairo University’s team representing Egypt in the international rounds of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) International Moot Court.
  • 2024 - Served as team oralist within Cairo University’s team representing Egypt in the international rounds of the Monroe E Price Media Law Moot Court Competition. Ranked among the top 5 amongst teams participating across the Middle East.
  • 2023 - Interned at the Egyptian Competition Authority after securing 1st place in the first Arab Competition Authority simulation.
  • 2023 - Earned recognition for her outstanding participation in the Philip C. Jessup Public International Law Moot Court. Awarded Best Memorandum for the team’s written submissions.
  • Member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
  • 2025 - Master of Laws, LL.M. Candidate, London School of Economics and Political Science.
  • 2024 - LL.B., Faculty of Law,  English Section, Cairo University.
  • 2019 - Foundation Year in Law, University of Sheffield.
