Rawan is a Managing Associate in the firm’s General Corporate, Commercial, and Regulatory departments, with a focus on employment, social insurance, intellectual property, and commercial matters.
She has extensive experience drafting and reviewing various commercial agreements, including service, distribution, lease, and agency agreements. Rawan provides day-to-day advice to multinational corporations on all their matters and issues related to their business operations in Egypt.
Rawan specializes in advising international and multinational clients on all local employment matters, including employment law compliance, onboarding and offboarding of employees, performance issues, investigations, internal policies and disciplinary processes. She has also guided and advised international companies on their TMT matters, including, e-devices and packaging requirements.
Additionally, Rawan advises clients on intellectual property matters, including trademark registration in Egypt. Her expertise extends to consumer protection, telecom, media, and technology-related issues.
Rawan has been part of ADSERO team since 2020. Prior to joining ADSERO, Rawan interned at top-tier law firms in Egypt, gaining valuable experience in various legal fields.
Advised and guided a Dubai Government-funded B2B e-commerce company, through the process of investing in Egypt, starting from establishing a local company in Egypt, onboarding employees, appointing managers, drafting all the company’s commercial agreements and handling all its general corporate matters and resolutions.
Handled a complex settlement matter of a leading group in the European audiovisual sector, whereby, they wanted to terminate their manager in Egypt. Rawan handled the negotiations of both the commercial and employment aspects and the drafting of terminations and settlement packages.
Advised a leading F&B group that operates iconic global brands, in their non-compliance with employees' rights to dividends which was a significant legal challenge to rectify their position of looping all dividends among the group companies.
Advised a multinational dairy products company in the settlement strategies of one of its employees, including preparing a risk report, comparing the pros and cons of limited vs unlimited term employment agreements and advising on compliance with local laws.
Advised on the launch of a construction of wireless device in Egypt, its licensing requirements, type approvals and the data localization regulation. Rawan also advised a leading e-commerce platform on the launch of a new Visual ID feature to its echo devices.
Assisted in advising the sellers of Cairo West for Medical Services, owner of El Nada Hospital – Sheikh Zayed, on the sale of 94.5% of their shares to Al Ahly Capital Holding.
Handled the internal investigations of the client’s employees who were involved in a fraud incident, drafted the relevant documentation, and advised on the corrective measures to be carried out.
Advised an engineering, construction and development group and handled the subcontracting of the operation services agreement for a Strategic Warehousing Project with the Egyptian government.

Advised a well-known multinational dairy products company on their complex anti-dumping matter with respect to their products in Egypt.
