Nourhan joined ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners in January 2020. Nourhan has more than two years of diversified experience in multiple legal fields, including general corporate and commercial.
Nourhan provides day-to-day corporate and commercial support on doing business in Egypt, assisting and handling the corporate matters of the multinational companies, including contract drafting, employment, TMT matters and direct interaction with governmental authorities.
Nourhan’s experience also focuses on Egypt’s e-commerce and retail sectors, whereby she advised major e-commerce and TMT companies, such as Amazon, on several high-profile matters. In addition, she has a wide range of expertise in consumer protection and data privacy matters.
Advised Amazon on doing business in Egypt, including their assistance in the day-to-day operations and general corporate and commercial matters, and reviewing agreements.
Assisted EMPG on day-to-day operations and general corporate and commercial matters, including drafting their terms of use.
Assisted Uber Egypt on various general corporate and commercial matters.
Advised, alongside (Clyde & Co.), on the potential acquisition of government-affiliated schools by a major educational institute.
Advised the key players in the media industry, including Amazon, Google and EMPG, on different legal aspects relating to the industry, including the regulatory framework concerning media content such as censorship, permitted and provided content, harmful content removal, intermediary liability, safe harbour and copyrights related matters such as copyrights disputes, negotiating copyrights license agreement and content rating.
Provided recommendations on the issuance of the Executive Regulations of the Data Protection Law no. 151/2020.
