She provides day-to-day support to multinational companies operating in Egypt, handling corporate matters such as contract drafting, employment, TMT issues, and direct interaction with governmental authorities.
Nourhan has significant experience in Egypt’s e-commerce and retail sectors, advising major companies, including Amazon, on high-profile matters. She also has expertise in consumer protection and data privacy.
Nourhan is currently on secondment with Amazon’s Operations Legal Team, where she provides legal advice and support on a wide range of day-to-day operational matters across the MENA region. In this role, she offers strategic guidance on internal processes, draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and advise on key aspects related to logistics, warehouse operations, road transport, and escalation management. Her work involves supporting teams in navigating legal challenges, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Advised a leading e-commerce platform on business matters in Egypt, including day-to-day activities, corporate matters, and agreement reviews.
Assisted EMPG with day-to-day operations and general corporate and commercial matters, including drafting terms of use documents.
Supported Uber Egypt on various general corporate and commercial matters.
Collaborated with Clyde & Co. on the potential acquisition of government-affiliated schools by a major educational institute.
Advised key players in the media industry, including Amazon, Google, TikTok and EMPG, on legal aspects such as regulatory frameworks, censorship, copyright disputes, and content rating.
Recommended issuing the Executive Regulations of the Data Protection Law no. 151 of 2020.
