Mostafa Shaaban is a Junior Associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution department. During law school, he gained valuable experience through internships at prestigious law firms and participated in the Competition Authority Simulation at the Egyptian Competiton Authority (ECA), focusing on arbitration, corporate matters, competition law, and sports law.
Additionally, Mostafa has been actively involved in numerous Moot Court Competitions and extracurricular activities, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and community engagement. Throughout his degree, he participated in various competitions, notably the African Human Rights Moot Court Competition and the Nuremberg Moot Court Competition.
Mostafa also served as the General Coordinator and President of the Student Union at The British University of Egypt (BUE), where he led initiatives that fostered student engagement and development. Furthermore, he was part of the legal clinic at BUE, where he acted as a pro bono consultant, providing valuable legal assistance.
Advised and drafted legal opinions for multinational companies on matters related to compensation under Egyptian civil law.
Assisted in providing legal opinions, handling cases before Egyptian courts, coordinating with international law firms, and conducting comparative legal research on foreign laws relevant to cross-border disputes for one of the largest TMT companies in the MENA region.
Handled settlement negotiations for multinational clients, structuring agreements in USD to effectively resolve disputes.
Represented clients before social insurance committees and labour law, securing favourable judgments in various employment-related disputes.
