Mohamed is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate, Commercial and Regulatory practice area while leading the firm’s Real Estate, Tourism and Life Sciences practice groups. He has over ten years of considerable and varying legal experience throughout numerous industries. Prior to joining ADSERO, Mohamed worked at top-tier law firms in Egypt. Mohamed has advised clients on general corporate and commercial matters, including the incorporation of companies, corporate restructuring, mergers, agency and distribution, employment, reviewing and drafting contracts, regulatory matters, franchising, data protection, IP and taxation.

Mohamed has also provided legal advice on transactional matters and executed M&A transactions, including conducting legal due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents. In addition, he provided legal services to several multinational life sciences companies such as Medtronic, Zoetis, Smiths Medical, Boehringer, Ibnsina Pharma, Pfizer, and Eva Pharma. Additionally, he represented Egypt’s fastest-growing and second-largest distributor of pharmaceutical products ‘Ibnsina Pharma’ in an IPO of part of its shares.

Moreover, Mohamed has amassed vast experience advising major real estate companies and developers such as Egyptian Resorts Company (Sahl Hasheesh), Palm Hills, Abu Dhabi Capital Group (Al Borouj), Amer Group, Regus, Colliers, Hassan Allam and Binladin Group on many legal matters concerning residential and commercial compounds, touristic projects, construction contracts, sale and lease agreements, partnership agreements and joint ventures.

Regarding the projects sector, Mohamed has represented several companies in setting up and operating their solar power projects under the feed-in-tariff (FiT) program in Egypt and other infrastructure projects.

In addition to his practical experience, Mohamed is also an Assistant Lecturer at Cairo University, Faculty of Law. Furthermore, Mohamed is an accredited mediator at the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in London.

Assisted Nacita Mobility Solutions in the implementation of the first Rent to Own program for Uber drivers in Egypt, partnering with Uber.

Assisted The Sovereign Fund of Egypt, MOBICA and EFG Hermes to establish a partnership between leading education provider GEMS Egypt to establish two schools at the Cosmic Village accessible to the Egyptian middle class.

Advised the Sovereign Fund of Egypt on the exploitation of the Tahrir Complex through a bidding process for the development and management of a multi-purpose facility by private investors.

Assisted The Sovereign Fund of Egypt in establishing a partnership between CIRA and Elsewedy Capital to establish two schools at the Cosmic Village accessible to the Egyptian middle class.
