Junior Associate

Medhat is a Junior Associate in ADSERO’s Dispute Resolution department. He is involved in a wide range of dispute resolution, litigation, and tax law matters, including drafting and submitting legal memoranda. He also assists in handling complex commercial and labour disputes, as well as high-profile criminal cases, successfully securing judicial precedents in favour of clients. Additionally, Medhat supports clients through mediation, achieving favourable outcomes across various types of disputes.

Prior to joining ADSERO, Medhat trained at several leading law firms, gaining valuable experience in arbitration and litigation, particularly in contract, labour, and civil liability law.

  • Assisted in representing an Egyptian sovereign entity in both criminal and civil cases, successfully securing favourable judicial rulings.
  • Assisted in representing Saudi investors, providing extensive legal consultancy and obtaining favourable judgments in numerous complex matters.
  • Assisted in representing a leading food manufacturing company in Egypt in tax-related cases, achieving favourable rulings.
  • Assisted in representing leading international companies in the seed and grain export sector before civil courts.
  • Provided support to a Lebanese-based multi-sector investment company client in a significant labour case, against a diversified investment company.
  • Assisted in providing legal opinions for leading companies in the aluminium and metals industry.
  • Assisted in providing legal advice to a leading transportation and ride-hailing company.
  • Assisted in securing favourable tax rulings for clients in various sectors, including hospitality, hotel, food manufacturing, utilities, and infrastructure resolving disputes amicably.
  • Contributed to drafting legal memoranda against companies in the securities trading sector.
  • Supported in providing legal counsel before the Administrative Court, to a leading poultry and livestock company in Egypt, which was resolved in favour of the company.
  • Assisted in obtaining a landmark judicial ruling on court fees, based on a novel legal argument, in favour of a leading company operating in the tourism and hotel sector.
  • 2023 – Oversaw and led all teams representing Cairo University in Moot Court competitions.
  • 2023 – Awarded Best Oralist in Cairo University’s Moot Court competitions.
  • 2022 – Awarded Best Oralist in the SLM Competition.
