Associate

Maryam is an Associate in ADSERO’s M&A and Capital Markets department, with over four years of experience in Egyptian corporate and commercial law.

She provides general advisory and compliance services to both domestic and international clients. Her practice includes drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, such as shareholder agreements, distribution arrangements, and agency contracts. Maryam also offers guidance on regulatory frameworks involving capital markets, consumer protection, data privacy, and labour law.

As a transactional lawyer, Maryam has worked on diverse corporate matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructurings. Her expertise includes conducting detailed due diligence for cross-border transactions and assisting with the execution of complex corporate deals.

  • 2023 – Team Coach at Foreign Direct Investment Arbitration Moot (FDI Moot).
  • 2020–21 – Coach of best memorandum team at SAM.
  • 2021 – Arbitrator at the 11th Annual Middle East Pre-Moot e-Vis.
  • 2021 – Moderator at the International Mediation Competition (Mediate-Guru).
  • 2020 – Participant in the Willem C. Vis Moot.
  • 2018–19 – First place winner in the Egyptian rounds at SAM, qualified to compete at the Vis Moot Court, Vienna.
  • Member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
