Mahmoud’s practice focuses on a wide range of regulatory and legal matters, including commercial and industrial licensing, intellectual property, TMT, life sciences, mining, international trading regulations, oil and gas services, renewable energy, natural resources, construction, and consumer protection.
In addition to advising on day-to-day corporate and commercial matters for businesses operating in Egypt, Mahmoud plays a key role in the regulatory aspects of M&A transactions, offering comprehensive legal advice and support.

Advised Pfizer on constructing new facilities in their manufacturing facility in Cairo.
Provided legal support and day-to-day advice to many Egyptian companies regarding registration at the Egyptian Federation of Construction and Building Contractors and obtaining and renewing building permits.
Contributed to advising international gold mining exploration companies organised by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority.
Advised several pharmaceutical companies on various business operation matters.
Advised Amazon on day-to-day operation and commercial matters in Egypt and launching new products or features.
Advised the IMCD Group on various general corporate and regulatory matters.
Advised Fujifilm on the importation and legal statutes of medical devices in Egypt.
Led negotiations with the Ministry of Finance representing Cairo 3A to clear conflict due to their importation and stevedoring practices in Egypt.
