Junior Associate

Mahmoud is a Junior Associate in ADSERO’s Dispute Resolution team. Prior to joining the firm, Mahmoud interned at several top-tier law firms and participated in the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) internship, gaining experience across various practice areas, including litigation, arbitration, and general corporate matters.

Mahmoud has expertise in representing and advising companies, as well as drafting contracts, legal opinions, memoranda, and settlement agreements.

  • Represented Beshay Steel Group, the largest privately owned steel producer in Egypt and the Middle East, in a critical economic dispute against a global graphite electrode supplier.
  • Represented Pharmalys Laboratories, a Swiss company specialising in infant nutrition and baby food production in over 50 countries, in significant civil, economic, and criminal cases against a national distributor involving intellectual property rights infringement.
  • Represented Amoun Pharmaceutical Company, one of Egypt’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, in a critical case involving coordination with a state agency to resolve the matter.
  • Represented AstraZeneca Egypt, a global science-led pharmaceutical company, in various cases filed against the company in Egypt, including coordination with a state agency.
  • Represented Saudi Egyptian Tourism Development, providing legal consultancy and securing favourable judicial outcomes in complex matters.
  • Assisted in securing a favourable judgment for Senyorita Group for Food Industries, a subsidiary of Americana Group, in an employee lawsuit.
  • Represented the German Foundation for Education in an arbitration case against Emaar Misr before the CRCICA.
  • Advised Orascom Investment Holding on a contractual matter related to a shareholders’ agreement.
  • 2024 – Participated in Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (FDI Moot) competition.
  • 2024 – Participated in the Shalakany Litigation Moot (SLM) competition.
  • Member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
  • 2025 – Diploma in Administrative Law, Ain Shams University.
