Lina is an Associate in the firm’s M&As and Capital Markets team. Prior to joining ADSERO, Lina worked in the M&As department and represented clients as purchasers and sellers. She has also assisted in drafting and reviewing the related transaction documents.

Lina’s experience spans various industries, and she is well versed in multiple legal disciplines, including M&As, Capital Markets, Corporate Structure, Corporate Commercial and General Corporate.

Also, she is skilled in drafting and reviewing all types of commercial agreements, providing legal advice on transactional & non-transactional corporate and regulatory matters, advising on restructuring plans and strategies, executing M&A transactions, including conducting legal due diligence, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing transaction documentation, and managing day-to-day corporate matters of several multinationals.

Furthermore, she frequently assists in the day-to-day operations of companies in the non-banking financial sector to ensure compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, specifically corporate governance and licensing.

Lina speaks fluent Arabic and English and has good conduct in French.

Lina is qualified to practice law in Egypt.

  • Advised ZNZ Pharma Limited II as local counsel in the acquisition of Adwia S.A.E., a national pharmaceutical company.
  • Advised ADP II S.a.r.l in its divestment in Mashroey Trading Co. S.A.E. and Tasaheel Microfinance Company S.A.E.
  • Advised Abdul Latif Jameel Finance for the purpose of obtaining the consumer finance license issued by the FRA.
  • Advised Acino, a Swiss pharmaceutical company, with Latham & Watkins as international counsel, in the acquisition of selected prescription and over-the-counter assets from Takeda pharmaceuticals, a multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Japan.
  • Advised Diamond Family Foundation in the sale of their shares in Birla Carbon Egypt S.A.E. to Trade Knot Investors.
  • Advised Development Partners International (DPI) in connection with the sale of DPI’s indirect minority stake in B.TECH to Saudi Egyptian Investment Company, the Saudi Public Investment Fund’s Egyptian investment arm.
  • Advised SETA Textiles in connection with the sale of SETA’s majority stake in DRMG.
  • Advised Beltone Financial Holding in the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Cash Microfinance Company.
  • Advised FDB/Hearst on the legality of registering medical software as a medical device with the Egyptian Drug Authority.
  • Acted as local counsel for several companies, including: Pfizer, Cargill, NVOC, MANSCO, Si-Ware Systems S.A.E., Phibro Animal Health (Egypt) and Nissan Motor Egypt S.A.E. and handling their day-to-day corporate work.
