Laila is a Managing Associate in the firm’s M&A and Capital Markets department. She has over four years of experience in corporate governance, commercial, M&As and capital markets with top-tier Egyptian law firms. She speaks fluent Arabic, English and German and is qualified to practice law in Egypt.

She has experience in M&A and capital market transactions, restructuring, drafting and reviewing various commercial agreements and providing legal advice on transactional and non-transactional corporate and regulatory matters. In addition, she has experience executing M&A transactions, including conducting legal due diligence, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, and preparing and risk analysis of specific, industry-focused transactional issues. Laila also has previous experiences in commercial and investment arbitration, having worked on submissions heard before ICSID, ICC, LCIA and CRCICA.

In her general corporate and commercial experience, and prior to joining ADSERO, Laila worked as in-house counsel for an international company in Dubai. Her role included providing day-to-day corporate and commercial support, strategic legal guidance to the executive team, handling corporate matters, and reviewing various types of agreements.
