Ibrahim is a Counsel in ADSERO’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Capital Markets department, bringing over 15 years of experience across various areas of Egyptian law, including corporate, M&A, capital markets, and commercial matters.
Prior to joining ADSERO, Ibrahim worked for the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) and several top-tier asset management corporations in Egypt. He specialises in direct and indirect acquisitions of Egyptian legal entities and capital markets transactions and has developed unique expertise in general corporate matters.
Ibrahim has significant experience handling major initial public offerings (IPOs) and private placements, working closely with international counsel to review and draft relevant sections of prospectuses and public subscription notices. Additionally, he has extensive expertise in Sukuk and securitisation transactions, including drafting prospectuses and related contracts.
Advised Ayady, NI Capital, and PFI on the divestment of Tamweely, Egypt’s leading microfinance provider, in a landmark deal Eeceeding EGP 2.5 BN.
Advised Elsewedy Capital Holding on the sale of 51% of the share capital of Easy Lease to Al Ahly Capital Holding.
Assisted Telecom Egypt (TE) in the sale by the Egyptian Government of 10% of TE’s shares on the secondary market at the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), approximately 4 BN.
Assisted Chimera Investment acquire 45% of GB Lease, a subsidiary of GB Auto, for EGP 855 MN.
Reviewed and audited more than 40 transactions in direct and indirect acquisitions, including:
