Ibrahim is a Partner in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets practice area. He has over ten years of experience, speaks fluent Arabic and English and is qualified to practice law in Egypt.

He has extensive experience in complex restructuring, M&A and capital market transactions, drafting and reviewing all commercial agreements, and providing legal advice on transactional & non-transactional corporate and regulatory matters. Additionally, he is an expert in advising on restructuring plans and strategies for local and multinational companies, executing M&A transactions, conducting legal due diligence and legal research, and drafting and reviewing transaction documentation.

Ibrahim has specialized legal experience in establishing fund structures and handling regulatory and M&A transactions in the agriculture, education and healthcare sectors.

Moreover, as an attribute to Ibrahim’s profound experience with the Libyan market, he is currently leading the establishment of the Libyan desk at ADSERO, permitting the firm to advise local and international clients interested in conducting business in Libya.

Advised Middle East Chemicals on the possibility of exiting and negotiating the transaction with the counterparty, as well as drafting the sale agreements and implementing the closing of the transaction.

Assisted Chimera Capital in acquiring 45% of GB Lease, a subsidiary of GB Corp, for EGP 855 mn.

Represented Chimera Capital in acquiring 20% of MNT Investments B.V, MNT- Halan, Egypt’s leading and fastest-growing fintech ecosystem.

Assisted PIF in acquiring 34% of B.TECH.

Advised Chimera Investment in structuring, negotiating and closing one of its most notable real estate investments through acquiring a 25% stake in Gemini Global Development Egypt under Ora Developers.

Advised Chimera Investments on the establishment of an offshore fund structure in Cayman Islands with Al Abbar Family Office.

Acted as the local counsel of CI Capital on its IPO on the Egyptian Exchange.

Advised Helios Investment Partners and the Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund on the acquisition of a majority stake in Misr Hytech (a leader and pioneer in the Egyptian corn and sorghum market).

Advised Amazon.com as local counsel (transaction internationally led by Clifford Chance) on the acquisition of Souq.com.

Advised Neptune Energy Group as local counsel (transaction internationally led by Freshfields Bruckhaus Derigner) on the acquisition of Engie E&P.

Advised NBK Capital Partners on the acquisition of Kaumeya School (a leading K-12 School in Egypt) and financing from EBRD.
