Associate

Hoda is an Associate in the firm’s General Corporate, Commercial, and Regulatory department, specialising in employment and labour law. After graduation, she worked as a Teaching Assistant at the German University in Cairo (GUC).

Prior to joining ADSERO, Hoda gained extensive experience through internships at prominent law firms, with a focus on maritime and corporate law.

  • Worked with Syngenta’s team in drafting and reviewing various contractual agreements, including supply agreements and distributor agreements, ensuring that the terms are legally compliant and aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Assisted multinational companies in conducting internal investigations and the lawful termination of employees in compliance with Labour Law and applicable procedures.
  • Assisted multinational companies in employment law matters, including providing legal advice on employee relations, disciplinary procedures, workplace compliance, and adherence to HR policies and best practices.
  • Contributed significantly to the preparation of an audit report for Americana, which included a comprehensive review of numerous contracts to identify potential risks and provide recommendations. Conducted a thorough audit of the company’s finance department, identifying missing documentation and advising on necessary legal compliance procedures.
  • Assisted a Japanese company in drafting a detailed memorandum addressing the legal complexities surrounding its relationship with a public entity. The memorandum focused on potential legal risks related to the refund of a substantial fund held in a New York bank account and provided strategic recommendations for mitigating these risks.
  • Conducted a comprehensive review for a leading e-commerce platform concerning the implementation of Egypt’s new e-invoicing system. This analysis included identifying potential legal and operational risks that the system could pose to the platform’s business operations in the region.
  • 2024 – Coached at the GUC team to 1st place in the AlexU-CRCICA Pre-Moot and the 31st Willem C. Vis Moot national rounds.
  • 2024 – Invited to serve as an Arbitrator in the AlexU-CRCICA Pre-Moot and SAM Arbitration Moot..
  • 2023 – Participant in the 30th Willem C. Vis representing GUC.
  • 2023 – Awarded Best National Oralist in the AlexU-CRCICA Arbitration Initiative.
  • 2023 – Won 1st place in the AlexU-CRCICA Pre-Moot international rounds.
  • 2023 – Secured 3rd place in Al-Cancun VIS Pre-Moot, competing against 20 international teams.
  • 2022 – Awarded 1st place and Best Applicant in the GUC Internal Moot Court Competition.
  • Member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
  • 2023 – LL.B., Faculty of Law and Legal Studies, GUC.
