

Hadil Helmy is a Senior Associate at ADSERO in the General Corporate, Commercial, and Regulatory practice area, with a focus on the Real Estate, Tourism & Hospitality practice group.
With over ten years, spanning private practice and the public sector, Hadil is experienced in advising local and foreign clients on corporate and commercial matters, including company incorporations, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiation, competition law, sports law, and regulatory compliance across various industries. Her transactional practice encompasses M&A matters, legal due diligence, and the drafting of transaction documents.
Hadil has developed notable expertise in competition law, having served as a Legal Fellow at the Competition Law Center of George Washington University and undertaken an international legal internship at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, gaining exposure to international antitrust and competition law practices.
Prior to joining ADSERO, Hadil served as a Prosecutor at the Egyptian Administrative Prosecution Authority, where she investigated financial and administrative violations committed by public officials, drafted prosecution memoranda, and issued decisions and recommendations to governmental authorities in support of anti-corruption enforcement efforts.
Earlier in her career, she gained experience in the banking sector, advising on the review and drafting of letters of credit, letters of guarantee, facility agreements, and syndicated loan agreements.

2024 – Served as a jury member at the Antitrust Writing Awards by Concurrences and The George Washington University Law School Competition Law Center.
2020 – Completed the Anti-Corruption and Governance Training Course, Egyptian Administrative Control Authority.
