Junior Associate

Habiba is a Junior Associate in ADSERO’s General Corporate, Commercial, and Regulatory department, specialising in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT). Her academic background is marked by a double degree in International Business Law, with a Master’s in Public Business Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne

Habiba’s legal expertise includes drafting and reviewing privacy policies, advising on the implementation of Egyptian regulatory frameworks, and conducting legal research across Egypt, the UAE, and KSA.

Prior to ADSERO, Habiba trained in leading law firms where she gained professional experience in corporate and commercial law, with a strong focus on Mergers & Acquisitions, corporate governance, and public contracts, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of both legal and business strategies.

  • Advised a leading e-commerce platform on expanding in the Egyptian market, including launching new services, ensuring compliance with consumer protection regulations, regulatory compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Assisted major social media, technology, and pharmaceutical companies on a wide range of regulatory compliance matters, including developing data protection frameworks, ensuring cybersecurity alignment by advising on the collaboration with foreign cloud service providers, and guiding the launch of digital products and services in line with local and regional laws.
  • Supported international law firms to provide expertise on Egyptian regulatory, commercial, and tax-related matters, supporting cross-border transactions and compliance strategies for multinational clients.
  • 2024 – Participated in the prestigious international VIS East Moot competition held in Hong Kong.
  • 2023 – Participated as an oralist at the Shalakany Arbitration Moot, where her team won 1st, and she received an Honorable Mentions certificate.
  • 2021 2023 – An active member of the Legal Clinic of Sorbonne Law School in Egypt, providing free legal services and advice, which demonstrates her commitment to social responsibility.
