Farida joined ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners Corporate and M&A team in 2021 with over four years of diversified experience in the field.
Farida provides corporate secretarial and general advisory services to multinationals operating in Egypt. Such services include maintaining statutory records, drafting and reviewing agreements, establishing branches and representation offices, and liaison with authorities. Farida also has an extensive background in data protection and consumer protection regulations.
As a transaction lawyer, Farida worked on corporate restructurings, share transfers and asset purchases which involved carrying out due diligence, transaction documents drafting and review in addition to participation in negotiations.
Having specialized in antitrust law, Farida is able to provide a one-stop-shop service to clients with over 20 successful merger filings with the Egyptian Competition Authority. Farida has also worked on major antitrust disputes over the past years.
Assisted The Sovereign Fund of Egypt, Mobica and EFG Hermes in connection with the establishment and operation of schools in Egypt in cooperation with GEMS Education.
Represented the shareholders of Namaa for Development & Real Estate Investment on the sale of six (6) separate Grade A offices in East Cairo to Compass Capital’s Portfolio Company Bonyan.
Advised Match in connection with its acquisition of Harmonica for IT.
Seller representation in connection with the acquisition by Dr Oetker of 100% of Cook’s parent company Tag El Melouk for Food Industries LLC.
Representation of Midea in its dispute with Al Araby vis-à-vis the Egyptian Competition Authority.
Representation of Cleopatra vis-à-vis the Egyptian Competition Authority to clear its acquisition of Alameda.
Assisted Al- Ahram Beverages Group in the alleged abuse of dominance investigation conducted by the Egyptian Competition Authority.
