Aya is a Senior Associate at ADSERO’s Corporate, Commercial & Regulatory department. She advises national and multinational companies on corporate, banking, real estate, litigation, and employment matters, with a focus on drafting and reviewing legal documents, complaints, and notices.
Aya brings extensive experience from her work at leading law firms where she drafted and reviewed civil and commercial agreements, including management, service, franchise, employment, sale, lease supply, marketing, commercial agency, facility and guarantee agreements. Her expertise also includes work in corporate structuring, such as managing general assemblies and board meetings.
Advised Hungarian Exim Bank and Exim Bank of Russia on the EUR 1.1 BN financing to the Egyptian National Railways Authority.
Assisted Jaz Hotel Group in their significant hotel management agreement with Sharm Dreams for Touristic Investment.
Advised L’Oréal Egypt on several corporate law aspects.
Assisted Total Egypt with their corporate matters.
Represented major TMT companies such as Amazon, TikTok and Uber on TMT-related matters, especially data protection, cyber security, day-to-day operations, and general corporate and commercial matters.
Prepared a commentary memo on the proposed privacy legislation in Saudi Arabia, featuring a comparative assessment of data protection regulations under the General Data Protection Regulation, Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law, and data privacy legislation in the UAE.
