Ahmed joined ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution department in June 2020 and he has been part of ADSERO’s leadership team since January 2022 as a Managing Associate and currently a Senior Associate.
Ahmed’s primary area of practice is handling complex disputes on taxes and telecommunications. In addition, his professional experience involves representing clients and providing detailed and comprehensive legal opinions and advices in several fields, including telecommunications, taxes, customs, competition, cybercrimes, and FinTech.
Ahmed possesses extensive expertise in handling complex disputes and representing local and international clients before all types of Egyptian courts, arbitration tribunals, public prosecution, and several government entities and ministries: including courts experts’ committees, Egyptian Tax Authority, Ministry of Finance, National Telecom Regulatory Authority, and Egyptian Competition Authority.
In addition, he has ample experience in preparing legal memoranda, legal assessments, and dispute strategies, for defense and prosecution.
He advises and negotiates on behalf of clients from a wide range of sectors and industries on the resolution and settlement of complex disputes and mega projects. He has substantial expertise in handling all types of amicable settlements and drafting settlement agreements.
2015 – present – Ph.D candidate, Cairo University Law School, in cooperation with the University of Hamburg. Thesis Title: The Legal Basis of Transfer Pricing for Tax Purposes, a comparative study.
2013 – 2014 – LL.M, Cairo University Law School – Public Law Diploma and International Trade and Investments Law Diploma. Ranked 1st amongst his colleagues in both diplomas.
2009 – 2012 – LL.B, Cairo University Law School – Accumulative Grade: Very Good. Ranked 5th amongst his colleagues.
