BANKING & PROJECT FINANCE

Recent mandates include Telecom Egypt's EGP 18 billion syndicated loan across 13 banks, Orange Egypt's EGP 8 billion facility across eight lenders, cross-border loans from Gulf banks, EBRD green financings and growth facilities for technology companies such as Sylndr. Lenders instruct us to structure and protect their exposure. Borrowers instruct us to secure terms they can work with for the life of the facility.

Our work spans conventional and Islamic finance, including Ijara, Murabaha and Istisna structures, and is supported by a regulatory practice that advises banks and non-bank financial institutions on their obligations to the Central Bank of Egypt and the Financial Regulatory Authority. Partner Hossam Gramon has been recognised by IFLR1000 for eight consecutive years.
