ADSERO is pleased to have acted as the local legal counsel to WaffarX on the funding round led by San Francisco-based Lobby Capital, L.P, with participation from A15. Founded in 2018 by Ezz Fayek and Mahmoud Montasser, WaffarX is the first Cash Back website in the MENA region.

ADSERO advised WaffarX alongside U.S. Counsel Perkins Coie LLP. Concurrently, the investor was advised by Goodwin Law and Venture by Shahid.

The transaction was led by Ragy Soliman, Managing Partner and Co-Head of M&A and Capital Markets, and Mohamed Abdelgawad, Partner and Head of the General Corporate, Commercial, and Regulatory practice, who were assisted by Hana Awad, Managing Associate, and Mariam Choukri, Associate.
