Junior Associate

Rana is a Junior Associate in the firm’s M&A and Capital Markets department. Prior to joining ADSERO, Rana worked at a global law firm and interned at top tier law firms in Egypt.

Rana advises local and international clients on transactional M&A across the MENA region.

As a transactional lawyer, Rana works on corporate restructuring, merging, demerging, and share transfers, which involves conducting due diligence, conducting legal research, and reviewing transaction documentation.

Rana also has experience in the Capital Markets practice area. She has worked on securitisation and Islamic Sukuk issuance.

Rana is fluent in French, English, and Arabic.

  • Advised Saint-Gobain on its acquisition of United Paints and Chemicals S.A.E (Drymix).
  • AdvisedJAF Investment on the 30% dual acquisition of Rawaj Consumer Finance and UE Finance in Egypt from Arabia Investments Holding (AIH). The transaction value is EGP 177 million.
  • Advised Capital for Securitization and Bedaya Mortgage Finance Co. on the EGP 843 million securitization issuance.
  • Advised GIG-Egypt on its merging with AIG-Egypt.
  • Advised pharmaceutical company in its restructuring.
  • Advised an Egyptian company in its secondary offering in the context of IPOs execution and listing in the EGX.
  • Advised an Egyptian company for its Ijarah sukuk issuance.
