Khaled is an Associate in ADSERO’s General Corporate, Commercial, and Regulatory department, specialising in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources law.

He has professional experience in general corporate, commercial, regulatory, M&A, and energy, including renewable energy projects. Khaled has advised various local and international companies on day-to-day legal matters and complex issues related to restructuring, corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters in Egypt.

His expertise includes drafting and reviewing various agreements such as shareholders’ agreements, power purchase agreements, service agreements, settlement agreements, policies, and MOUs. He also provides legal advice and conducts in-depth legal research across diverse legal fields.

In addition, Khaled has experience in cases involving private international law, public international law, labour law, and tax law. His comprehensive knowledge spans multiple jurisdictions, including the UAE and KSA.

Khaled is fluent in Arabic, English, and French and is qualified to practise law in Egypt.

  • Advised a UAE-based media company on the launch of its platform, including negotiation and execution of all relevant agreements.
  • Assisted an Egyptian-based construction company with the implementation of a solar power plant abroad, including the negotiation and execution of all related agreements.
  • Assisted in advising Siemens Mobility in its contract with the Egyptian government for Egypt’s first high-speed electric rail system.
  • Advised a leading energy company on a potential oil and gas acquisition in Egypt.
  • Assisted an Egyptian real estate company in a share purchase transaction to establish a new school management entity.
  • Advised a governmental entity on the sale of its wind farm assets.
  • Advised a confidential client in the energy sector on a withholding tax matter in KSA.
  • Advised a confidential client on an international law matter relating to international sanctions.
  • Advised a multilateral financial institution on amendments to its statute of incorporation.
  • Advised numerous energy companies on corporate and commercial legal affairs in Egypt.
  • Assisted in the formation of a joint association between major wind energy companies.
  • Supported a leading e-commerce platform with its environmental legal compliance.
