Rawan has been part of the Corporate and Commercial team of ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners since 2020, first as a Junior Associate and is currently an Associate. Rawan’s primary practice areas are employment, social insurance, commercial, including agency, distribution, intellectual property rights, and import and export.
Rawan has experience in drafting and reviewing various types of commercial agreements, including service, distribution, lease, and agency. Rawan also provides day-to-day commercial, social insurance, and employment advice for multinational corporations regarding their business operations in Egypt.
Rawan is well experienced in advising international and multinational clients on their local employment issues and advising on all aspects of local employment law issues, employees’ performance issues, investigations, and the disciplinary process. In addition, Rawan has advised international companies on their e-devices and their packaging requirements.
Rawan also advises clients on their intellectual property matters and handles the registration of trademarks in Egypt. She is also experienced in consumer, telecom, media, and technology matters.
Prior to joining ADSERO, Rawan interned at top-tier law firms in Egypt.
Assisted in complex settlement matters and advised multinational companies in their settlement strategies with their employees.
Assisted in registering the trademark of a medical clinic in Egypt.
Handled a series of corporate resolutions of a well-known multinational dairy company, advising them on their day-to-day operations and reviewing their commercial agreements.
Advised a well-known international company on their anti-dumping matter.
Advised a well-known sports media company with their commercial settlements in Egypt.
Rawan is currently enrolled in the Private Law Diploma at Cairo University.
In 2019, Rawan obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with honours from the English section of the faculty of law, Cairo University.
