
Nariman joined Adsero – Ragy Soliman & Partners in 2021. She is an Egyptian qualified lawyer and has around 10 years of experience in the fields of corporate commercial and arbitration from leading law firms and multinationals in Egypt and the MENA Region.
Nariman regularly advises clients on diverse legal questions and complex transactions spanning over many sectors such as telecom, e-commerce, logistics, construction, oil and gas, trade and services and export and import. Her scope of advice includes listed and non-listed companies, in addition to family businesses.
Nariman has a unique background as she worked at law firms and was engaged as inhouse counsel at famous multinational companies. Because of this hybrid experience, Nariman is best placed to understand her clients’ perspective and provide tailored solid legal advice that addresses business needs.
Prior to joining Adsero, Nariman was practicing in Dubai, UAE, where she first worked at the corporate commercial team of a leading law firm in the MENA region advising clients on capital market, family business and general commercial questions. She then joined a Dubai-Financial-Market listed logistics company that carries out operations in all parts of the world. There, she advised the company on legal questions concerning the business in the UAE, North Africa and Europe.
When Nariman first started practicing, she joined the arbitration practice of a famous law firm in Cairo, where she focused on commercial and investment arbitration. Shortly after she obtained an International Economic Law LLM from the University of Edinburgh in 2015, she decided to make a shift in practice to corporate commercial to focus on capital markets, mergers and acquisition and general corporate advisory work.
Nariman obtained a wide range of experience in drafting and reviewing all types of commercial agreements and advising on restructuring plans, in addition to conducting legal due diligence and handling day-to-day legal corporate, capital market, commercial and regulatory work.
During her career Nariman was seconded for 9 months to an US pioneer e-commerce company, where she acted as their sole inhouse lawyer for all their matters in Egypt. She was also seconded to a famous Arab media group, in Dubai, where she was overviewing its operations and restructuring plans in the UAE and KSA.
