Dina is an Associate in the firm’s Corporate, Commercial & Regulatory department and Projects group.
Having passed the Paris Bar Exam (Article 100) in November 2023, Dina is currently a dual-qualified lawyer in Egypt and France, qualifying her to practice as a French attorney. Dina’s experience covers energy, infrastructure, and mining. She also advises clients on several environmental and ESG matters.
Prior to joining ADSERO, Dina trained at several top-tier international law firms in Paris and Cairo. In 2021, Dina joined Simmons & Simmons LLP as a legal intern in the Energy department; during her time there, she worked on several mining projects in Africa and assisted with several clients’ matters related to tax and regulatory issues.
Also, Dina supported due diligence concerning renewable energy projects in France (Bois de la Hayatte) and the renovation of Djibouti’s old port. Furthermore, Dina was responsible for the Africa Mining Map and Clean Energy Tool Projects in collaboration with the London office.
Dina joined Ashurst LLP as a legal intern in the International Project department. During her time there, Dina worked across different industries, specialising in projects focusing on energy, mineral resources, renewables, and energy infrastructure. Moreover, Dina worked on several facilities and commercial facility agreements and the monorail infrastructure project in Egypt.
Represented the Egyptian Ministry of Finance as local legal counsel on the establishment of the first Sovereign Sukuk program of USD 5 BN.
Advised local and international energy companies on restructuring, corporate, commercial and regulatory matters in Egypt.
Drafted and reviewed various types of agreements, including but not limited to supply, sponsorship, commercial intermediation, and joint venture agreements.
