Aya joined ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners in December 2019. She has solid experience in banking, project finance, capital markets, general corporate, and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining ADSERO, Aya interned at top-tier international law firms in Paris such as Norton Rose Fulbright, Gide and Jeantet.
Aya represents local and international banks and companies concerning facility agreements. She also advises high-profile clients with respect to factoring, securitization, financial lease, Islamic finance, investment funds, Sukuk, education and e-commerce matters. Furthermore, she has experience in drafting and reviewing agreements inter alia consumer finance agreements, factoring agreements, Ijara agreements, e-payment agreements, security documents, in addition to drafting memorandums and legal opinions.
Aya has more than two years of professional experience, speaks fluent Arabic, English and French and is qualified to practice law in Egypt.
Assisted the sellers of Cairo West for Medical Services (owner of El Nada Hospital – Sheikh Zayed) on the sale of 94.5% of their shares to Al Ahly Capital Holding (the investment arm of the National Bank of Egypt) in an OTC transaction on the EGX.
Assisted EFG Hermes Corp Solutions in the Factoring Transaction.
Assisted Mazadat Application on day-to-day operations and general corporate matters, including drafting their policies.
Assisted the Ministry of Finance in the bonds issuance.
Assisted in the acquisition of Ismailia Investment Company (Atyab).
