Ahmed has been part of the senior leadership team of ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners since July 2021, first as a Senior Associate and currently as a Counsel in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets practice area. He has more than ten years of experience across various areas of Egyptian law, including, Corporate, M&A, Capital Market transactions and Commercial matters. Prior to joining ADSERO, Ahmed worked for a regional law firm and several top-tier law firms in Cairo.

Ahmed specializes in representing local and international investors in relation to envisaged, direct and indirect acquisitions of Egyptian legal entities and capital markets transactions. He also has particular expertise in general corporate matters and setting up a new business in Egypt. He has wide experience in advising on restructuring plans, and executing M&A transactions, including conducting legal due diligence drafting and reviewing all types of transaction documentation. In addition to involving in major IPOs and private placements, which includes cooperating with International Counsels.

Assisted The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) in the joint acquisition with education management firm Egypt Education Platform (EEP) in acquiring an undisclosed majority stake in the educational publishing entity Selah El Telmeez (SET). 

Assisted EgyBelg on a Sale of Assets Transaction to Savola Foods.

Assisted Naqla Raise USD 10.5 MN in Funding Round, Led by El Sewedy Capital Holding, Hassan Allam Holding and Sallam Family.

Advised ValU on the Acquisition of Paynas.

Represented the shareholders of Namaa for Development & Real Estate Investment on the sale of six (6) separate Grade A offices in East Cairo to Compass Capital’s Portfolio Company Bonyan.

Advised The Sovereign Fund of Egypt and MOBICA with respect to their partnership with a leading education provider GEMS Egypt to create premium education services accessible to the Egyptian middle class.

Advised The Sovereign Fund of Egypt with the structuring and completion of the partnership with Cairo Investment and Real Estate Development (CIRA) and El Sewedy Capital for the investment and establishment of private national and international schools in Egypt.

Advised Cairo for Investment and Real Estate Development (CIRA) and its major shareholder Social Impact Capital (SIC) in relation to pre-initial public offering restructuring and IPO of its shares in the Egyptian Stock Exchange.

Advised HSBC Bank plc, Investec Bank plc and CI Capital Investment Banking S.A.E., the underwriters, in relation to the initial public offering (IPO) of the shares of Tenth of Ramadan for Pharmaceutical Industries and Diagnostic Reagents (Rameda) S.A.E. (Rameda) on the Egyptian Exchange. 

Advised Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc., in cooperation with Skadden, in connection with the acquisition of Mercury (Cayman) Holdings, the holding company of Amoun Pharmaceutical Company S.A.E.  

Advised EFG Finance Holding and GB Capital in relation to the envisaged acquisition of 75% of the share capital of Tokio Marine Egypt Family Takaful (life insurance company) from Tokio Marine Group.  

Advised AlTayseer International Hospital S.A.E. in connection with the sale of a minority stake to Ezdehar Egypt Mid-Cap Fund. 

Advised EFG Finance Holding and GB Capital in connection with the partnership with Talaat Moustafa Group with respect to a real estate mortgage finance company.
